Director of sports/vp: Tj Cobbs
Tj Cobbs, who spent the last 4 season as our 17U coach was named our new director of sports July 15th, 2021. At age 27, he brings along a ton of playing & coaching experience. Tj played 4 years of college basketball at North Park University (Chicago) and there he help lead his team to a conference championship and a run at the national championship in the 2016-2017 season. After his playing career, he made a few stops as an assistant coach with Shepard High School and Evergreen Park which is his alma mater. Currently, he is now the associate head coach at St. Laurence Hs in the most competitive conference in the state. Tj also brings experience with player development with training D1 guys like Ismail Habib, Darius Wilson, Chris Simmons and much more. We are excited to have someone of his caliber at the head of our program.
